I never know what to write here. What would you all find interesting? What would be meaningful? So I’ll start at the beginning.

I’m a mountain enthusiast who misses the peaks of Utah everyday since my family moved from Utah, the state I was born in, in 2001. While Minnesota has beautiful hiking and camping, it’s not the same as the north-central rocks in the Rocky Mountains.

From my first day in my new school in Sartell, MN, my life has been all about academics, soccer, and choir. Every year from fourth grade through high school graduation was built of formative experiences that directly correlates to where I am today.

In sixth grade, we were learning about ancient world history. My favorite moment was the ancient Egypt lesson where we wrote our names in hieroglyphics on clay tablets. I fell head over heals for archeology in that moment. Becoming an archeologist was my dream when I entered college. Before I started my first day at the University of Minnesota, I took a required speech class. It turns out communications was a niche that I not only loved but was good at.

It has been college and work ever since. Overall, this experience has led to a creative, curiosity filled life.

Here are a few interesting facts about me:

  • I have 15 tattoos that span Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Nature, Mythology, Disney, Lord of the Rings, Sharks, and Spirituality.
  • Halloween is my favorite holiday, but Christmas comes in a close second.
  • I have dealt with chronic and mental illness most of my life, including life long sinus and allergy issues and ADHD.
  • I am a nerd to the nth degree. If I am not consuming true crime, I am learning something new, watching Star Wars, or listening to Disney music or my favorite movie soundtracks.

In closing out this little section of my website, I want to share a quote that I try to live by everyday.

“When you’re curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.”
– Walt Disney

If approached right, will be self-directed, disciplined, and productive. To overcome problems, checks for alternatives, refocuses priorities, and uses know-how. Does not respond well to those who withhold information or fail to give an explanation.

Needs to dialog and understand probabilities, establish priorities, and proceed on a sound basis. Under pressure, consults, asks questions, and keeps control. Recharge time is critical to restore energy, and feedback is necessary to attain self-confidence. Frustrated when others take action and inform later.
